Munnar (Hill Station in Kerala)
This is a beautiful hill station covered with unending expanse of tea plantations and is 133Kms from Cochin, with an altitude ranging from 1600 to 1800 meters above sea level. Munnar boasts the highest peak in south India 'Anamundi' 2695 meters high. Munnar was the favourite summer resort of European settlers for centuries.
